Little
Sanctuary Cottage is situated in the picturesque village
of
Stratton near Bude on the rugged North Cornish coast,
close to the Devon border.
Not as crowded as Newquay,the region offers waves
for
the beginner to the most experienced surfers.
Most
beaches are patrolled br R.N.L.I
lifeguards during the summer months and there
are a number of surf schools and activity centres.
Bude
has produced several recent successes in the surfing
world.
Reubyn Ash (current European junior champion) and
his
brother joss(2006 Rip Curl English National Champion)were
brought up in the surf around Bude.
Mike
Raven, former British, English and European surfing
champion and Etnies UK team rider, has been
surfing the area for over 20 years and knows how to
find the best surf for the conditions.
He offers tuition & coaching from individual to
groups,
all equipment provided, (including winter gear).
