FROM M5 After bypassing Exeter,take the A30 following the Oakhampton signs. Bypass Oakhampton,staying on the A30 and after approx 4 miles turn off the A30 and follow the signs for Holsworthy & Bude. Follow the Bude signs from Holsworthy, past Red Post and down the steep hill into the village of Stratton. At the Kings Arms Public House at the bottom of the hill turn right up into the narrow lane between the pub and the houses. Approximately 60 metres up the road find Lords Court General Stores and Post Office on your left, Turn Right into Diddies Rd (Church Street displayed). Pass St Andrew's Church directly on your left and 100mtrs past the Church the road widens , opposite Old Drovers Way, and Old Sanctuary is directly on your left.
FROM BUDE From the A39 take the Holsworthy road down into Stratton. Past the Hospital and Health Centre on the right, Congdon's Furniture and carpets on the left, round the left hand bend and over the bridge. Take the road to the left of the Kings Arms Public House. At the top of the hill, (with Lords Court General Stores on your left), turn right into Church Street, and then into Diddies Rd. Where the road widens out, Old Sanctuary is directly on the left.
PLEASE NOTE -There is a very large house called Sanctuary, and a little cottage called Sanctuary Cottage before OLD SANCTUARY on the left.
